Now that people know what to expect and the nail biting is over, it is time to move on to bigger and better topics. I want to thank the ASPTEA Board for their patience and commitment. I know there were times when frustration and tension were high; I too recognize that I was quite vocal during private sessions but never losing my objective and goal. Having been involved with this world of negotiations for over thirty years you never find every situation the same. This year was a year of change and developing new goals and direction. My work and that of the Board is not over but just beginning. We are going to have new challenges and new journeys will emerge from these experiences but in the end it will benefit the membership. It’s all about working in a safe and productive environment, as well as enjoying the work we do. Yes, times have changed and some of these changes are quite different from our way of living. But we are the masters of our destiny and new ideas and learning has to take place. There are a lot of challenges and changes that must that lie ahead and if we stay strong and continue to grow our membership we will achieve our goals. Thank you for your support and encouragement.
